Birds And More 010 - Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) Butterfly
Speckled Wood (Pararge aegeria) is a common British butterfly found in mainly in woodlands. It is dark brown with creamy yellow spots. It is the only brown butterfly with one cream-ringed eyespot on each forewing and three on each hindwing. Often seen chasing eachother or perched in sun.
