Birds Around Me 0090 - Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)
Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) - Male & Female Taken on December 17, 2016 Location: RSPB Rye Meads, UK (Latitude: 51.773823, Longitude: -0.008551) Pheasants are large, long-tailed beautiful birds but unfortunately are breeds for sport shooting. The males are more colourful than females. I took both of these pictures at RSPB Rye Meads Nature Reserve on a wet, cloudy & foggy morning. RSPB Rye Meads is pretty close to where I live, so my default place for birding walks. But it was absolutely amazing to see Pheasant both Male & Female for long time.
