The Small Minivet, measuring only 15–16 cm in length, the Small Minivet is a slender bird with a long tail and sharp bill. The male is particularly striking, with grey upperparts and brilliant orange underparts, fading to yellow on the belly. The female, though less flamboyant, is equally charming with grey above and yellow below, including a yellow face and rump.
