Birds Around Me 0083c - Hemel Hempstead - Common Kingfisher छोटा किलकिला, राम चिरैया, शरीफन, निता मछराला (Alcedo atthis)

Common Kingfishers छोटा किलकिला, राम चिरैया, शरीफन, निता मछराला  (Alcedo atthis) are local resident along River Gade and River Bulbourne in the Hemel Hempstead town. The water bodies and surroundings provide enough food for them to fish along with others like Grey Herons, Little Egrets, Gulls and Cormorants.   The colours of Common Kingfishers are amazing, under different light conditions, and depending on the age of the kingfisher appearance of the kingfisher changes from blue, azure, violet, or greenish - but a matter of fact is that their feathers are brown-orange. The pictures in this blogs are taken around Hemel Hempstead, primarily Boxmoor and Station Moor.
