Birds Around Me 0131 - Greenfinch (Carduelis chloris)
Taken on May 14, 2016
Location: Bourne End, Hertforshire, UK (Latitude: 51.746504, Longitude: -0.519488)
Noisy, flashy, sociable finches are Greenfinches. They are similar to size of sparrow. You can see flash of yellow and green when it flies. Greenfinches rely on seeds and their large bills allow them to be able to eat a wide variety.
The photograph in this post was clicked when I was waiting for my daughter's weekend dance class outside in the car park. It was first time I heard, saw and photographed Greenfinch.
