Birding Places - RSPB Snettisham Nature Reserve
'Whilrling Wader Spectacle' is an amazing, phenomenal event where tides force thousands of wading birds to move in tandem. The spectacle is no less than migration in Serengeti. And the place is no other than RSPB Snettisham Nature Reserve in Norfolk. Tens of thousands of waders arrive at the site for wintering and during high tide, they have to move to higher ground across the beach. It is just magical to see them fly above your head, in thousands.
