Indian Golden Orioles पीलक (Oriolus kundoo) is one of my favorite birds, I fell in love with this bird as soon as I saw a pair on the Mango tree in our garden. Now the mango tree is gone, so I don't see them often. But I always look out for them, listening to their calls and they don't disappoint me. Indian Golden Orioles पीलक (Oriolus kundoo) is about the size of myna, a brilliant golden-yellow bird, and has a prominent black streak through the eye, black in the wings and tail. The bright pink bill and crimson dyes are its other conspicuous features. The females are duller and have blackish-grey streaks over dull-yellow bodies. Indian Golden Orioles पीलक (Oriolus kundoo) has a very unique call - peelo peelo peelolo. It breeds abundantly in northern India but is seen all over India during winter.
